Archives: 2003 USS Chung-Hoon Commissioning

Found some old photos in the archives and reposted here for your enjoyment. The USS Chung-Hoon[1] was named in honor of Rear Admiral Gordon Pai’ea Chung-Hoon (1910–1979), recipient of the Navy Cross and the Silver Star and commissioned in 2003. The Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu choir performed a few numbers in honor of our former club member.
