About the Program:
HCCH was founded on December 17, 1918 by
Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole. Today,
Club members strive to continue the mission
established by Prince Kuhio by improving
and enhancing the lives of Hawaiians through
active social and civic participation. The purpose of the Scholarship Program is to recognize academic achievement and to facilitate Hawaiians in their quest to attain higher levels of education, thus improving representation of Hawaiians at post-secondary schools and equipping them with the academic tools necessary to improve their economic welfare.
Proceeds from the Club's annual
Holoku BallSM are dedicated to scholarships
for Native Hawaiians. In the past four years, the
Club has awarded more than $100,000
in scholarships. HCCH is committed to offer continued
support to returning college students as well as offer
new scholarships to first-time college students.
The HCCH Scholarship is administered by the
HCCH Scholarship Committee. For further information, please
