Welcome to the Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu's web-page! Here you will find information on how to apply for the Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu's (HCCH) post-secondary school scholarship , along with information regarding other available scholarships and methods for financing college tuition and more. The Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu (HCCH) was founded on December 18, 1918 by Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole. Club members strive to continue the mission and vision of the Prince by enhancing the lives of Native Hawaiians through participation with, and support of, various social and civic activities such as raising funds for Lunalilo Home, participating in Kawaiaha'o and Mauna Ala services, and sharing the voices of Kaiolohiaomamala (the HCCH choir) with the Hawaiian community. HCCH also sponsors forums for community outreach, legislative efforts concerning Native Hawaiian issues, and supports fellow civic clubs and associations. Chief among HCCH's activities is the support of higher education for Native Hawaiians. Over the past five years, HCCH has awarded more than $150,000 to approximately 300 students in pursuit of educational goals in Hawaii and on the mainland.
